Experience
-
Software Development Intern
Carfaith
I participated in the collaborative development of a REST API in .NET for an inventory control system, aimed at replacing manual processes in Excel and improving operational efficiency. I contributed to the implementation of features for real-time stock tracking across multiple locations, increasing inventory accuracy by 40% and optimizing logistics management. In addition, I performed unit testing with NUnit and integration testing, ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of the system throughout the development cycle.

Clear Minds Consultores
I contributed to improving application quality and performance by identifying and correcting code errors, as well as developing modules in mobile applications with React Native. I tutored more than 15 students at the KrakeDev programming school, focusing on programming logic, data structures, and problem solving. I also actively participated in technical team meetings, contributing ideas and solutions to optimize processes and solve development challenges.
Projects

🐧 Intelligent assistance application with artificial intelligence tools. It combines multiple functionalities, including spell checking, text-to-speech and speech-to-text conversion, as well as image generation and recreation for animation studies. Its interface prioritizes usability with elements that highlight the main functions.

🌱 Link shortening service developed with ASP.NET Core, designed to transform long URLs into short, easy-to-share links. It has optimized performance thanks to the use of cache, which guarantees fast and efficient responses. In addition, it offers a detailed statistics system that allows you to track the use of each link.

📱 Web application developed with React, Tailwind, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, allowing users to explore and manage a gallery of wallpapers. Users can search for images by keyword or category. Images are stored in Cloudinary, and their URLs are saved in the database. The project implements a frontend-backend architecture connected via REST API.
About me
My name is Juan Diego and I'm from Quito, Ecuador. I completed my studies as a Technologist in Software Development at the National Polytechnic School in 2024 and I am currently continuing my studies in Computer Engineering at Israel University.
I build technological solutions by breaking down problems, exploring alternatives and developing efficient strategies. My personal projects are my laboratory, where I experiment with artificial intelligence, applications that automate tedious tasks and full-stack web development, each line of code expands my technical capabilities, represents a challenge conquered and a skill developed.
I enjoy teamwork and the exchange of ideas, as I believe collaboration and effective communication are key to creating innovative solutions. I believe in continuous improvement and in the ability of technology to transform ideas into real solutions. My approach is pragmatic: build, test, iterate and improve.
